The workshop covered topics related to non-volatile memories ranging across basic memory device technology, data encoding, computer system architecture, security, and applications. The workshop spanned three days included a tutorial on flash memory technologies, 29 technical presentations, and a panel discussion of grand research challenges related to non-volatile memory technologies. The workshop attracted 130 participants from 23 universities and national labs and 33 companies, including 14 graduate students.
